It was such a beautiful day today - I dropped Dan off at Bailey's for him to clean out the pond and have a water play... then got Al and we went down to the Elbow for lunch on the banks, watching the dogs run in and out for sticks and balls and the Calgarians floating on by in their brightly coloured dingies.(why does that come up red on spell checker?).
It was wonderful. And then on the way back we went through the rough area - speaking botanically not socially - and found this free-for-all-who-dare swing and a tree that Al is now in love with. A climbable tree, not 3 minutes from the house. The swing is high off the ground even though it doesn't look it and the tree is a stout trunked monster, although it doesn't look like it.
