February entry in March

Busy month with quite an assortment of activities for the entire family - school trips to Police Forensics Museum, Theatre production - Your a good man charlie brown, Family Day holiday at Jasper - and skiing skiing skiing at Sunshine and Marmot basins. Speed skating classes in school. Meetings of Embroiderers' Association of Canada and Contextural (to which I have been admitted - yippee), 5 week online course on digital printing on diverse materials, Book club - discussing Obama's "The audacity of Hope' Art demonstration,Baby sitting course and CPR, Red cross course, teenage friends round for evenings, dinners out and in, and Fire safetly course, Not to mention lots of coffee drinking and socialising. Did I mention that John has to do some work from time to time at Shell Canada to finance all these activities... and you can see from 'Fruity" below... he doesn't look too bad on it.

And some images to tell the tale.
Fruity

On route to Jasper... via the Icefields Parksway... the GPS show how complex the navigation is round these parts... but conditions were challenging...
Daniel remembered the last time he was at the Athabasca Glacier... but this time it was a fair bit cooler.

Skiing in Marmot - it was a very bright day... sorry about the poor image.. but it is us and we were having a great day.. lovely conditions and the views were all round spectacular.
